Free Speech Ireland (FSI) is an independent organisation that advocates for free speech, expression, and academic freedom. FSI works to inform the public on any matters concerning the rights to freedom of speech and expression. They encourage politicians to ensure these rights are upheld in legislation. The organisation was started by students in University College Cork in 2018. Since then, the membership has grown to include many individuals, students and college alumni from all across Ireland.
