AFAF and SAFAF at the Battle of Ideas

We will have a stall at the 20th Battle of Ideas Festival on the weekend of the 18 and 19 October in Church house, Central London. With over a 100 debates, and more than 3,000 attendees, the Festival is the highlight of the year for those who believe in the importance of debate and discussion. The motto of the Festival is ‘Free Speech Allowed’ and as, Claire Fox, the Director of the academy of Ideas, said recently; It was once an unexceptional slogan but is now almost revolutionary.

The stall allows us to meet academics, students and members of the public and get them involved in defending free speech in universities. But we need volunteers to help out on the stall during breaks. If you are willing to help in anyway get in touch – email: director@afaf.org.uk
